Dr. Miller is a highly skilled Supply Chain and Logistics Strategy, Data Analytics, and Management Science expert who serves as a Technical Consultant in Growth Perspectives Limited’s (GPL’s) Innovation Enabling Practice. With over twenty (20) years of experience in Engineering and Data Analytics, he has developed strong expertise in areas such as demand planning and forecasting, mathematical/ quantitative data modelling, transportation planning, logistics and warehousing, mechanical engineering, and project management within the Caribbean, North America, and Asia. Dr. Miller previously worked in the Warehousing Division of Yamato Transport in Tokyo, Japan, where he coordinated packaging for logistics transportation for different prefectures and operated R.F. Scanners to track merchandise and verify the contents of containers. Dr. Miller also served as an Electrical Power Generator Consultant at IMCA/Caterpillar Jamaica Limited, a Field Engineer and Technical Coordinator at Goodyear Jamaica Limited, a Mechanical Engineer for Red Stripe Jamaica, a Project Engineer at Lutron Liamuiga Limited in Saint Kitts and Nevis, and a Warehouse Attendant at ABC Distributing Inc. in Florida, USA.
Qualification Summary
Dr. Miller holds a Ph.D. Degree in Logistics Engineering from the prestigious Tokyo University of Marine Science and Technology in Japan – where he held a Government of Japan Doctoral Scholarship. He also holds a MSc. Degree in Ship Management and Logistics from the World Maritime University (WMU) in Sweden, a MSc. Degree in Logistics and Supply Chain Management from the Caribbean Maritime University in Jamaica, a Post-graduate Diploma in Education from the University of Technology, Jamaica, and a BSc. Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Technology, Jamaica.
