Dr. Fadason is a genetic scientist and big data specialist with more than eight (8) years’ experience in academia and software development. He is currently a Research Fellow at the Liggins Institute of the University of Auckland where he uses data science and bioinformatics to investigate risk predication and the development of human genetic disorders. Prior to this appointment and the commencement of his doctoral studies, Dr. Fadason held lectureships and other senior academic positions in Nigeria.
Dr. Fadason holds a Ph.D. in Biomedical Sciences, University of Auckland – New Zealand, MSc. in Molecular Biology with Bioinformatics, University of Wolverhampton – United Kingdom, and BSc. in Microbiology, University of Jos – Nigeria. He is passionate about data science, risk predication, entrepreneurship and innovation, and stands ready to help government and private sector organizations use data analytics (big and small) as a strategic tool to extend their product and market footprint and competitiveness.
