All About GP Innovate

GP Innovate is an annual innovation competition, designed to nurture the culture of innovation by providing a platform for youth in Jamaica to showcase their inventions and/or ideas. The competition offers the opportunity for participants to interact with potential long-term mentors, partners, and funders who can help to (co)monetize projects.

How is GP Innovate Different?

Unlike other innovation competitions, GP Innovate (GPI), is interested in facilitating long-term growth and development for innovators. We have created a space where participants can make connections with potential partners and investors, who could launch concepts beyond the incubation stage. GPI also provides the opportunity for mentorship and support as you refine innovations or ideas. GPI nurtures a culture of innovation, teamwork and bringing you and your ideas forward.

• Participants must complete and submit an application form. You may fill out the application form here.
• Participants must upload and submit proof of enrolment in their University or College, and a business plan along with a completed form. (you can upload the files with the completed Google form)
• Participants must be enrolled in a University or College in Jamaica.
• Participants must be part of a group of 2 or more people.
